Do you have a Minddistrict account?
It is possible that an account has not been created for you yet. Your therapist can do this for you (or you can do it yourself which is possible in some platforms). As soon as an account has been created, a welcome email will be sent to you. Follow the instructions in the email to create a password and login. The button in the welcome email is valid for 7 days and can be used only once.
Is the button no longer working? Your therapist can have the welcome email sent to you again.
Was the correct email address used for creating your account?
Ask your therapist to check the email address for correctness and/or spelling errors.
Are you logging in on the right platform?
Check the web address (URL) of the platform. If necessary, ask your therapist for the correct web address. This can also be found in the welcome email.
I have forgotten my password

I need help with choosing a password
It is important to be careful with your password so that others cannot access your data. Below you can read a number of tips to help you with this:
Use a strong password
First, make sure you have a ‘strong’ password. Strong passwords are difficult for computers to guess or hack. You can make your password stronger by using numbers, capital letters and other special characters (such as question marks or exclamation marks) in addition to normal letters.
Use a password generator
The more unpredictable you make your password, the stronger it is. You can use an online password generator to help you create a strong password. You can specify the requirements of your password. An example of a password generator is LastPass generator(Opens in new window).
Use a password manager
It would be safest to use a different strong password for each account. To help you to remember all of these passwords, you could use a password manager on your computer, laptop, tablet or mobile. With a password manager, all of your passwords are stored securely. Many of these password managers can also generate strong passwords for you. An example of a password manager is LastPass manager(Opens in new window).
Create a passphrase
Passphrases are good if you have a hard time remembering complicated passwords. Phrases are easier to remember and they are long, which makes them difficult to crack. In addition, make sure they are unpredictable. A password phrase like "IDrink3CoffeePerDay!" is reasonably predictable and easier to crack than, for example, a password phrase like "IDrink3CoffeePerDay!ButIAlsoDrink2T
Change your password regularly
It is recommended that you change your password regularly to protect your personal data. It is especially important to do this immediately if you think your password has been guessed by a person or computer.
My account has been deactivated
When your account is deactivated, it means that your account is inactive and you can no longer log in to it. Your data has not been deleted. You can ask your therapist to reactivate the account.
Want to log in via the Minddistrict app and don't know how?
Look here for instructions on how to log in with the minddistrict app.Opens in new window)
Do you want to log in with the Minddistrict app but are you stuck?
- Do you have an account on a Minddistrict platform?
You can only use the app if an account has been created for you by a (care) organization. As soon as that is done you will receive a welcome email. If you have downloaded the app without an account being created for you, you cannot use it. - Have you created a password via a browser?
The welcome email contains a link to create a password. You need to create a password first via a web browser before you can login the app. - Forgot your PIN?
On the page where you type it in there is a 'reset here'; button. If you press this, you can log in again with a QR code or your email address and password. - Don't know where to find the QR code?
Log in using a browser. You will find the QR code at the top right of your Profile.
I have Minddistrict accounts with different organizations. What now?
It depends on how you use Minddistrict:
- Each organization has its own Minddistrict platform with its own web address. Using your browser, you use different web addresses (URL's) for the different healthcare organizations. These platforms exist completely independently of each other, so you will not encounter your information from your Minddistrict account of one organization in your Minddistrict account of the other. Your therapists at the various organizations cannot see that you also have an account elsewhere.
Data from one platform cannot be merged/transferred to the other platform.
You have different web addresses for logging in via the web browser. You can use the same email address and password combination, but we recommend always using different passwords for different accounts. View tips for creating passwords here.(Opens in a new window)
Save the different web addresses to your address bar (bookmark).
- Are you using the QR code to log in to the Minddistrict app? The app recognizes which account you want to log in and you will end up on the account of the platform you used to create the QR code. Check out how to log in with a QR code here.(Opens in new window)
- Do you log in (again) on the Minddistrict App with your e-mail address and password and is that e-mail address and password the same for both organizations? The Minddistrict App recognizes that you have been given an account with these login details at more than 1 organization. You will be asked which account you want to continue working with.
You will then only see the data (for example a module, a diary or exchanged messages) that you have been offered via that account you have received. Even within the app, therapists from different organizations cannot see that you also have an account elsewhere.
- In order to switch from one account to another with the Minddistrict app, you must first log out of an account. You do this at 'Profile' > 'Gear icon' > 'Log out'. If you are logged out, you can then log in again using the QR code in the correct platform ó or you log in with your email address and password and choose the correct environment in which you want to work.
Logging out in this way is necessary. Just closing the app is not enough.
Good to know for the App: logging in is different from using your mobile (five-digit) pin code.
