Hour view for diary charts This update is relevant for clients and therapists  It can be useful to visualise diary entries in a hour-to-hour graph. Showing developments in a 24 hour period can provide insights to the client as well as the therapist. A 24 hour graph was not available yet, even if there were multiple diary entries in one day. It's possible to open a 'day view of entries' on any given day via the link in the day on the calendar. In that day view the 24 hours of the day are displayed on the x-axis (see screenshot)  Note: the hourly chart is only available via the browser.

Data-export of module list

This update is relevant for data officers and data analysts 

In the new data export 'modules in modulelist' you can select the field ‘user type’ (client or therapist) who has assigned the module. This provides insights into the self-help modules that were started by clients themselves. By selecting the 'Creation date' field, you can also see when the module has been assigned. Obviously there are more fields you can select in this export.

Minddistrict no longer accessible via Internet Explorer

This update is relevant for all users 

In earlier Release notes we announced that the platforms will no longer be accessible via Internet Explorer. This is because we strive for optimal operation and security of the platforms and Microsoft does recommend not to use Internet Explorer any longer. When a user opens the platform via Internet Explorer, a page appears saying that Internet Explorer is no longer supported.  This page lists the browsers we recommend to use: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. On the 2nd of April 2021  the production platforms will no longer be accessible via Internet Explorer!

Minddistrict app

Blocking obvious pin codes leads to more safety This update is relevant for clients and friends Users of the Minddistrict app can set a 5-digit pin code to make it easier to open the app next time. All combinations of pin codes were accepted by the app, which could lead to security issues with easy-to-guess pin codes being used by clients Obvious pin codes will be blocked from now on. Think of 5 times the same number, ascending or descending sequence of numbers (1,2,3,4,5 or 0,9,8,7,6).  Existing users of the app will not have to change their potentially weak pin codes.

Create diaries with hourly graphs

This update is relevant for editors

To create a diary with a bar graph, a line graph or a scatter graph there is a bucket available called 'day_or_hour'. Editors can use this bucket in their graph code to generate a graph that will: 

• show entries per hour on the day view page
• show entries per day on the month view page

A bucket function is required for the day_or_hour bucket.

Technical update

Active Directory synchronisation

This update is relevant for application managers

Changing data manually can be cumbersome and error-prone, so synchronisation with the Active directory should not be missed. Now it is possible to synchronise data ad-hoc or via a daily job. On the Active Directory server the administrator can add, change, delete, disable users or assign users to a group. The users and groups are synchronised to the Minddistrict platform via an ad-hoc or daily synchronisation job.

REST-API: new endpoints for adding and assigning tools

The REST-API updates are relevant for organisations that integrate the Minddistrict platform with third-party systems

The new Catalogue REST API endpoint makes it possible to list available tools (modules, diaries, etc.) from the Minddistrict platform and gives access to the IDs, metadata and images of the tools.

Assigning modules and other tools to clients can be done using the new Tools REST API endpoint.

REST-API: new user endpoint

The new User REST API endpoint makes it possible to retrieve basic metadata about user accounts. For example, whether the user ever created a password or when was the last login.

The User end point can also be used to trigger account related emails, such as the welcome email or the email to reset a password.

Rename Nexmo in Privacy Statement

Our third-party provider for video calling changed their name from Nexmo Inc to Vonage. In our privacy statement we changed the name to Vonage.
