Even more secure: our databases have been migrated to a new environment


On Friday 24th of July, we migrated the Minddistrict platform’s databases to a new, modern environment. This includes, amongst other things, the databases in which client data is stored.

This data is, and always has been, highly secure, and this step further strengthens that security.


For you, our customers, nothing will change in terms of how you use the platform. Behind the scenes, however, it is a significant upgrade:

  • New servers running the latest versions of everything from the operating system to database software with long-term support. This also includes the latest available technologies when it comes to encrypting the data entrusted to Minddistrict.
  • Even furether automated processes, with changes being tested more thoroughly and always having a final check by a second person.
  • Servers that check themselves every half hour to ensure they are still fully compliant with the specifications. Each server also checks itself against an internationally acknowledged technical security checklist — the same checklist used by auditors. If anything deviates, we’ll be the first to spot it.

This means we’re ready for the future, built in line with the most recent information security requirements for the healthcare sector.
